Bringing in the New Year

The Brookville Banner would like to thank the Brookville community for understanding the need for a reconstruction period in our business. We took the designated time to break down our goals and morals and to make sure we are serving the community in the best way we can. As we bring on the new year, we would like to introduce our changes to our old methods as well as our new and improved ones.

Our morals are the most important idea that we want to present. The Brookville Banner carries a great amount of pride in the idea to be honest, positive, hometown dependent, affordable and carry real-time relevance.

Each and every article, advertisement and post directed by The Brookville Banner will only share the most honest truth. We take the time to adjust and manage each and every piece of information submitted to us, to make sure that the information we release to the community is at its utmost truth. While being truthful is at the top of the list, we also carry the idea to be positive. The Brookville Banner will only every share the positive side of every story. Our platform is designated for positive only posts, comments, and any other form of communication that is involved. We take everyone's voice into consideration when needing to share information, but if the information is not worthy of any positive reaction, we will not bother sharing it.

Another part of our morals is the idea that we stay completely hometown dependent. The Brookville Banner is here directly for the Brookville community. We share stories straight from the heart of Brookville and will continue to only share Brookville stories. As well as, we will only advertise and promote our local Brookville businesses in the use of advertisement and article coverage. The use of hometown dependency gives us the ability to share news in real-time relevance. The Brookville Banner strives on sharing news directly to the Brookville community at a high-rated timely manner. The Brookville Banner takes pride in being able to represent each and every Brookville member and will continue to carry that pride as we share the news around Brookville.

As The Brookville Banner brings in the new year with these morals, we have new and exciting changes to share with the community. The Brookville Banner wants to share the news with a wide variety of people in the community and has a very strict goal to pin point each direction of the area. The Brookville Banner will continue to offer a digital version of each article for unlimited reading but will also present the idea of paper copy once a month for our individuals that would like to read more newspaper-styled articles.

Going into more detail, the articles found on the website are now in a more blog format. This format gives The Brookville Banner the advantage of getting community feedback on a more individual level. The Brookville Banner is always open to hearing the community feedback and will continue to share our many ways of hearing what every voice has to share. Each article will be presented in a manner of time-relevance to be sure that the community has the opportunity to construct an opinion, if need be. Our articles will also offer an area for comments, viewing status and a liking status. We are hoping this will allow the community to feel open and heard within our business.

Our paper copies will be under construction for a bit longer but it will be constructed as a trial and error process. The paper copies will begin as a monthly subscription, with hopes of advancing to bi-weekly or weekly. Our paper copies will present some of our normal content, such as articles and advertisements but will also cover the ideas we once held. The Brookville Banner takes pride in presenting a spotlight for individuals in the community and would like to bring those ideas back into play. With this idea, The Brookville Banner needs the community's help in making sure that these individuals get their well-deserved spotlight. We will be opening a nomination portal for the community to present these individuals to us. The Brookville Banner will also be covering more sports-affiliated news with the help of the Brookville School District and Brookville Sports by Bill Idle. Our paper copies are also here to cover the ideas and events help by our non-profit organizations in the community such as the Brookville Chamber of Commerce, The Brookville Optimist Club and the VFW Post 3288.

Another service that the new year brings is the use of our A and B Lounge on our website. Our A and B Lounges are designated for the businesses and non-profit organizations in Brookville to share some important information with the community. A submission within the A or B Lounge will provide a Business/Non-Profit Representative, the best way to contact the business/organization and a blurb on the services they provide. The use of the A and B Lounge gives the community and its members a simple way to find this information and to have the confidence in the information. The information that is located in the Lounges will be controlled based on relevance and time-accuracy.

The Brookville Banner is taking another step forward and opening up opportunities for community members to volunteer and help construct our platform. Our website has outlined some of the very important roles The Brookville Banner carries that can be shared throughout the community. Our authors, photographers and graphic designers are a huge part of what we do at The Brookville Banner but we are always in need of new members to bring on new ideas. If you or someone you know has an interest in publishing, photography or design, please see the form attached to our website under Volunteer Opportunities.

While all of these changes are happening, The Brookville Banner would like to be transparent as can be with each and every member of the community. The use of services and their prices will be available via our website at any time. If you are interested in any of our services, please feel free to visit our website for the list of services and the ability to request a free quote from us. The Brookville Banner is also available via phone and email for any and all questions/concerns anyone may have. We would like to thank the Brookville community once again for their understanding in our reconstruction and the overwhelming support you have given us.

Happy New Year and Thank You,

Rebecca Pruszynski
